Dent Light 1.3 and board display

Admin  Aug/05/14 The latest update Dent Light 1.3 addressed a small bug that was causing the “coaching bars” and “dent boards” to load incorrectly on some iPads. We thought this be a great time to go over the correct way your Dent Light should be displaying when trying to view a dent.

It’s probably best to start with the models that are the heart of this latest update, the first generation iPads 1-4. After plenty of field tests with these models it was realised that because of the technology used in the LCD screen’s, the configuration of the boards and subsequent coaching bars had do be displayed in portrait mode to be viewed. These are the only models that are viewed this way.

As per the in app “User Guide” all iPad Mini”s and the “iPad Air” are to be laid on their sides in landscape view when using the Dent Light boards, follow the coaching bars found in the “unlocked” board for further instruction.

Keep in mind that coaching bars should always be running parallel to the lines on the board and if you haven’t update your Dent Light and while your there please give us a review, your feedback is appreciated and used to make the Dent Light a better app. To stay current with your Dent Light find us on Facebook or sign up for our newsletter.  For more information on how LCD screens work, check this video out.
